Sommers Sausage Shop is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've done

• Color palette checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements
• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
• Descriptive alternative text on all photographs
• Proper heading structure and landmark regions on every page
• Motion (such as the scrolling announcement banner) is disabled automatically for visitors who set a “reduce motion” preference, and pauses on hover or focus
• Forms with visible labels and clear error messages
• Automated accessibility audits (Lighthouse/axe) run on every major change

Known limitations

Our beef, pork, and lamb cut sheets are scanned PDF forms and may not work well with screen readers. If you have any trouble with them, call us at (906) 874-6032and we'll gladly walk through your cut sheet together over the phone or in person.
