We work side by side with the farmers of Iron County and the western U.P. — mobile harvesting on the farm, honest custom cuts, and packaging done to spec. When local animals are processed locally, families get better meat, farmers keep more of their margin, and the money stays in the community.

Decades of craft and care
Pat started in the meat processing business in 1982. In 1992, he and Chris opened Sommers Sausage Shop with a simple goal: do good work, treat people right, and build something to be proud of.
Since then they've served thousands of families — from hunters bringing in their first deer to farmers needing custom cuts for their livestock. Every batch of sausage, jerky, and smoked meat is handcrafted in small batches with local ingredients.
